If you're looking into Eagle Bay cabins, you are coming to one of Canada's true recreation areas, especially in the summer. From June-September you'll see all kinds of boats out on Shuswap Lake with people enjoying water skiing, tubing, knee boarding, or enjoying a nice float under the summer sun.
There is a nice beach in the Eagle Bay area, called Shannon Beach. It's accessible from Eagle Bay Rd. It has a large swimming area where no boats are allowed. Kids will enjoy swimming out to the swimming raft in the middle of the swimming area.
Camosun Narrows Provincial Park is nearby and it's a perfect place to camp and enjoy the spot where the four arms of Shuswap Lake meet. There is a fairly large beach at the park as well.
