Tara, together with her husband Tim, moved to Salmon Arm in 1989 from Edmonton, Alberta with their then young family. She worked for many years at the Salmon Arm Golf Club in the administration office, then as an independent sales representative for "Kids Only", a children's clothing manufacturer from Calgary, Alberta. Just prior to licensing in real estate, she worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for a local developer/builder in Salmon Arm. This experience gave her valuable first-hand knowledge of the construction market in the area. During her 25 years as a local resident, Tara has been involved in many community activities and sport clubs with her husband and children. Tara and her husband, Tim, are very proud of their two children, who now both live & work in Calgary, AB. Their daughter Miranda, graduated from The U of A in 2008 and currently works for Takeda Pharmaceudical. Miranda and her husband Duncan live in Calgary, AB. Their other daughter Stephanie, graduated from Nait in 2008 and currently works for Imperial Oil. Stephanie also lives in Calgary, AB. Tim, after 19 years at Newnes, is now doing International Sales for a Quebec based sawmill equipment company called "Comact". Tara has been a full-time Licensed REALTOR since October 2004. Tara has also managed to devote time to be on the board at the local Zone level for the Shuswap Realtors since 2008. She also sat in as a Director in 2013 on the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board. When not assisting clients, you will find Tara walking her dog "Kiya" or traveling with her husband.
